Alcoholics Anonymous Logo
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is an international community of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with one another that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not affiliated with any organization outside itself, although special groups of AA members may cooperate with other entities in matters of mutual concern. Our community is not a religious organization, but we believe that spirituality is essential to recovery. AA’s primary purpose is to stay sober and to help others achieve sobriety.
