Founded in 1910, the BSA has a rich history of empowering young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives. Through its various programs, including Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scouts, the BSA instills in its members the values of the Scout Oath and Law, which promotes trustworthiness, loyalty, helpfulness, and other important character traits.
