Pepsi is a carbonated soft drink with a cola flavor, manufactured by PepsiCo. It was originally created and developed in 1893 by Caleb Bradham in New Bern, North Carolina, United States. It was known as "Brad's Drink" until 1898 when it was renamed "Pepsi-Cola". In 1961, the name was shortened to simply "Pepsi".
