Sterling Bancorp logo
Sterling Bancorp, formerly a regional bank holding company, merged into Webster Financial Corporation in February 2022. Their principal subsidiaries, Sterling National Bank and Webster Bank, were also merged in the process. Sterling Bancorp, with branches located in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, and Southfield, completed an IPO in 2017, and the Company's stock began trading on the NASDAQ exchange under the ticker symbol "SBT."
