The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) is an official pharmacopeia for the United States, published annually by the United States Pharmacopeial Convention (USP), a non-profit organization. USP sets standards for the identity, strength, quality, and purity of medicines, food ingredients, and dietary supplements. It also provides reference standards for these materials.
