Alianza Fútbol Club, also known simply as Alianza, is a Salvadoran professional football club based in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador. Founded in 1965, Alianza is one of the most successful clubs in Salvadoran football history, having won 16 Primera División titles, a record 12 Copa Presidente titles, and two CONCACAF Champions League titles. Alianza is known for its passionate fan base and its colorful home games, which are often played at the Estadio Cuscatlán, the largest stadium in El Salvador.
