Vatican Flag Vector
The flag of Vatican City is a vertical bicolour of gold and white. The gold stripe represents the sun, a symbol of good and light, while the white stripe represents peace and purity. The flag is charged with the coat of arms of Vatican City, which features two crossed keys, one gold and one silver, symbolizing the two powers of the Pope, the spiritual and the temporal. Above the keys is a papal tiara, and below them is a banner with the Latin motto "In hoc signo vinces" (In this sign you conquer), a reference to the vision of Constantine the Great before the Battle of the Milvian Bridge. The flag of Vatican City was adopted on June 7, 1929, when the Vatican City State was established under the Lateran Treaty.
