The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) is a government agency in Kenya responsible for regulating and overseeing the transport sector. The NTSA was established in 2012 through the merger of the Traffic Police Department, the Public Service Vehicle Inspection Department, and the National Road Safety Authority. The NTSA is responsible for issuing driver's licenses, registering vehicles, conducting traffic inspections, and enforcing traffic laws. The NTSA's mission is to create a safe, secure, and efficient transport system for all Kenyans.
